TASK SCHEDULE FOR MARCH 2015

Sundays: Grow our own organic food on our allotments
led by George Spencer. The task will vary according to the season.
Meet at the Woodlands Allotment entrance which is through a gate on
the R hand side of Dereham Road as you go out of the City just before
the roundabout leading to Sweet Briar Industrial Estate. 
No need to book, just come along at 12.30

Marlpit Paddocks
A new site for us, this is an important County Wildlife Site that is gradually being restored to its former glory after some years. We’ll be litter picking this time.

A gentle walk to spot the early signs of Spring- it will probably be muddy, so please wear appropriate footwear

Mystery Tour
The first of our walks to discover signs of Spring and enjoy gentle exercise in lovely green spaces. Bring a picnic lunch.

TASK SCHEDULE FOR FEBRUARY - PLEASE NOTE NEW TASK TIMES FOR MONDAYS AND WEDNESDAYS

Welcome to this month’s Norwich Community Green Gym programme

Our Green Gym is a great way to get a bit more active in good company. While you help yourself to better health you’ll be helping wildlife and Norwich’s special, beautiful, green spaces too.

Times and Meeting Places
·         On Mondays we meet at 11am at the BTCV Office, Horns Lane, off Ber Street, Norwich, NR1 3ER and go to site by minibus returning by 2.45pm
·         On Wednesdays we meet at 11.30 on the site and finish there at 2.30pm.
·         On Sundays we meet at our allotment at 12.30pm

We provide…..all the tools, work gloves and some refreshments and there is always a trained leader to help you. Most sites don’t have toilets, unless marked “WC ”in the listing

Please wear…..old clothes and sturdy shoes or boots (trainers are not advisable).

For your safety ….. Please ensure that your tetanus inoculation is up to date.

To book…..Please ring us beforehand so we can make sure there’s room on the bus, enough tools & tea !
